Wickford Rodworks was established in 2002 as a home based rod shop. Our goal was to offer the serious angler a fishing tool far superior than off the shelf, mass produced rods.

The demand for our rods and repair service quickly proved too much for a home business to handle. Our shop moved to Wickford Village in the spring of 2007. Our services extended to beyond custom rods and repair.

The new shop also offers bait and tackle, reel repair, rod building supply and build a rod classes. We are New England's newest Batson's products distributor offering both Rainshadow and Forecast blanks and components. Although our location and menu have changed, our goal to offer fisherman superior products and service remains the same.
